Why can’t I just use the Zip+4?

Using Zip+4 to calculate sales tax is only accurate about 75% of the time. Sales tax rules are very specific and precise. Rules for special tax jurisdictions such as ‘less than 1000ft from a subway station’ (a real-world example) cannot be incorporated into a Zip+4 rate table.

What if I already have Avalara?

Existing Avalara customers can use TaxNOW with your current Avalara credentials. Transactions from Salesforce will automatically appear right alongside your transactions in your Avalara dashboard.
